M1ND Morning Glory
Workouts designed to get you loose, activated and feeling awesome. Drawing inspiration from sports, yoga, calisthenics & rehabilitation with a connection between mind and movement. It’s fitness designed for everyBODY with progressions & regressions demonstrated in every movement. Great for desk bound workers busy parents, caregivers and sport participants alike.
To prepare, just bring yourself, clear a space, put down a mat for your comfort and enjoyment. Weights are always optional in any workout, recommendations are in the descriptions below.
About M1ND Workouts
This is fitness for every day life. Enjoy no & low impact workouts that support the body and mind. M1ND is about reconnecting with your body by activating (or re-activating) functionality, mobility, stability while promoting your ability to encourage the energy, relaxation, bringing more ease into whatever you have thrown at you in the day ahead. All M1ND classes are functional stretching, mobility and stability for non-yogis!
I wanted to specialize in a fitness format that would enable pretty much anybody and everybody to participate. No matter what level. Fitness should be fun and refreshing. It should challenge you, remind you why you’re alive and help you feel empowered, stronger and get endorphins going. There should be progressions and regressions, leaving no one behind. Inclusivity is important.
That’s why I chose to become both a SH1FT & M1ND instructor, and that’s why I chose to partner with CYNO to deliver these sessions to busy professionals. If you share the same values, I hope to meet you in my virtual studios!
M1nD UNBALANCED
We test your balance in this M1ND workout. You have the option of adding a very light weight for extra stability.
Weights: 1-5 lb dumbbells recommended
M1ND FULL BODY
Mobilise and lengthen every joint and muscle in the body as we stay on the floor for this full body stretch. A perfect bolt-on for easing muscle tension after a workout or as a stand alone session to unwind.
No equipment required
M1ND MORNING GLORY
MORNING GLORY is designed to get you loose, activated and feeling great. We specifically designed it with mornings in mind, but this workout can be done anytime day or night to mobilise and activate the shoulders, hips and spine.
Weights: 1-3 lb dumbbells optional - generally a no equipment workout
M1ND LOAD
Utilising additional load encourages greater awareness and activation when performing mobility drills. The load also provides an extra challenge to your stability via resisting forces. But remember - load is always optional!
Weights: 1-5 lb dumbbells recommended
